Welcome to the North Georgia College & State University Web Page. In a sense, every college and university is unique, but at North Georgia College & State University we know that we have something special going. We are a senior military college - one of only six nationwide - and we offer that experience in a liberal arts, coeducational environment. We also are a university with a strong tradition of programs in the arts and sciences and the professions, with a broad range of offerings for undergraduates and graduate students and for working professionals seeking to enrich their knowledge in many fields. This unique blend produces graduates who are an employer's dream - driven, well-rounded, team oriented leaders. It's a program that has worked well since 1873, and works well for the new millennium also.

Dahlonega, Georgia, site of the first U.S. gold rush in 1828, is a beautiful little mountain town with lots of outdoor recreation attractions year 'round.
