To qualify for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, students must meet the following criteria:

• have completed one-half academic year at NGCSU

• have junior or senior standing as an undergraduate, or have graduate standing

• rank in the highest 35% of their class

• have attained distinction in at least one of the following five categories:

  • scholarship

  • athletics

  • campus or community service, social and religious activities, and campus government

  • journalism, speech, and the mass media

  • creative and performing arts
