on campus that promote diversity awareness.

Identify and support
regional and national programs that celebrate the diversity of world culture.

Modify the campus
physical environment to reflect the university’s increasing diversity.

Encourage departments
to highlight the contributions of a diverse population to their disciplines
through website links, promotional material, educational resources, etc.

Explore new courses
for and/or add current courses to Areas B and/or E of the core curriculum that
directly address diversity.
a. Conduct a thorough review of the policies and procedures of North Georgia College & State University to determine an appropriate awareness of and adherence to diversity responsibilities and to make recommendations for needed changes.

Publicize all
cultural events open to the public through media that reach the institution's
primary service area.

Establish mutual
relationships that allow for shared cultural enrichment with public schools in
the institution's primary service area.
