Graduation academic Regalia is ordered and purchased through
the bookstore.

NOTE:  No refunds on academic regalia orders. 

Ordering deadlines are firm for each ceremony:

Summer 2008               August ceremony                     June 6, 2008
Fall 2008                      December ceremony                October 17, 2008
Spring 2009                  May ceremonies                      March 13, 2009

Orders placed after these deadlines will be charged a $5.00 late fee.

Cost:
Associate                                 $35.00  plus tax
Bachelor                                  $35.00  plus tax
Masters (hood included)           $58.00  plus tax
Specialist (hood included)         $58.00  plus tax
Doctor (hood included)             $75.00  plus tax

Gowns are sized by height and weight.  Caps are a "one size fits all".

Honor Hoods:
Available to undergraduate students who will graduate with Baccalaureate degree with academic honors:
          *Cum laude
          *Magna cum laude
          *Summa cum laude
Eligible students purchase honor hood from the bookstore for $30.00 plus tax.  The list of honor students
will be sent to the bookstore after final grade point averages are computed and posted by the register's
office.  This is usually the day of the graduation ceremony.

Gainesville State College Students:
Students can place your order at the University Center or you may call in your order to 706-864-1635.

Mail order:  For those new graduate students who will receive the doctorate degree from Medical College of Georgia and walk in the NGCSU ceremony, you can order your academic regalia through the mail.  Please send your name, address, height, weight, and telephone number to NGCSU Campus Connection, 82 B College Circle, Dahlonega, GA 30597.  All orders will be ready the week of graduation in the bookstore-pick up only.  The total price including tax for doctorate regalia is $80.25.  Checks should be made out to NGCSU.
