The Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon on April 27 drew 67 attendees, 48 of them NGCSU employees. Ellen Hester, a member of the National Speakers Association, delivered an informative program recognizing administrative professionals' efforts to streamline office procedures, provide efficient support to supervisors, participate on work teams, manage multiple projects, and acquire skills most in demand by employers. Jeanette Mann, continuing education, received her master's degree in Education through the University of Phoenix, walking in a commencement ceremony at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on April 23 with about 500 other fellow graduates. Pictured with Mann is four-year-old son Roland.
