Institutional Identity Post-Presentation Survey

Overall
Surveys were
completed by 137 employees following the IITF presentation. Self-reported
affiliation with the university were as follow: 83 faculty, 33 staff, 16
administrators, and 5 others.
Attendees to
the institutional identity presentation completing the survey responded
positively overall to the presentation. 95% of respondents think that NGCSU
can be better than it is now, yet only 58% think that we need dramatic
change. Faculty, staff, and administrators differed on the need for dramatic
change, with 88% of administrators and 60% of faculty saying that such
change is needed, while 52% of the staff said such change is not needed.
79% of
respondents indicated that they are excited about the future of North
Georgia.
Agreement with
Findings
78% of
respondents thought that the process of interviews and discussions captured
who we are at NGCSU. Most respondents also shared the foundational, focus,
and vision values presented and agreed with the call to live by our values.
88% of administrators, 79% of staff, but only 66% of faculty agreed with the
description of our positional situation.
