Praxis I:
Academic Skills Assessments, is a test of reading, mathematics, and writing skills, each part of the test one hour long. The test may be required before a student can be admitted to the Education Program. Praxis I is given six times a year. Registration forms and fees due to ETS approximately one month before the proposed testing date. There is a $40.00 registration fee per test date; the fee for each part of Praxis I is $30.00. Praxis II:
Subject Assessments, is a set of pre-professional skills tests. Passing the appropriate test(s) is required for teacher certification. Praxis II is given six times a year. Registration forms and fees due to ETS approximately one month before the proposed testing date. Fees for the tests vary. Applications and information are available online at http://www.teachingandlearning.org/ .
