DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) -- These two-hour computer-based tests are available in thirty-seven subject areas of business, physical sciences, humanities, social sciences and applied technology, and are for students interested in earning college credit for material they already know. COST (Subject to Change)
Two separate payments required:

•  $30 administration fee, due at check-in, payable to NGCSU by either cash, check, money order, VISA or MasterCard.

•  $70.00 test fee, due at log-in, payable to DSST by credit card only.

All eligible military personnel and eligible civilian employees: DSST exams are funded by the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) and are free. More information on eligibility is available at http://getcollegecredit.com/07military.html.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Upon arrival to the Testing Office, a valid photo ID with signature must be presented. Military personnel and government-funded civilians MUST present a current military identification card and a second form of government-issued photo ID with signature.

RETESTS
If a passing score is not obtained, the test may be repeated after six months. If a test is repeated before the six month waiting period is ended, test scores will be invalid and all fees forfeited.
