COOP 2000 - Cooperative Education Work Experience Non-credit A part-time specialized work and study program whereby students may work cooperatively with employers while pursuing academic studies. This parallel arrangement must be a planned, structured experience which enhances the student's career interests and integrates hands-on experience in a chosen field. A student must register with the Office of Placement Services and Cooperative Education to secure the appropriate documentation and have approval of his/her academic department. The student is required to participate in a work-site evaluative process and to complete any assignments designated. A satisfactory/unsatisfactory grading system is used, and academic departments are the final authority on the approval of students for the program, as well as on the grading process. COOP 3000 - Cooperative Education Work Experience Non-credit A full-time specialized work and study program integrated with the student's academic program and career interests. Before starting a work experience program, the student must meet eligibility requirements, must be registered with the Office of Placement Services and Cooperative Education, must have the appropriate documentation, and must have the approval of the sponsoring academic department.
