Applying for Financial Aid as an Accel Student

Note: This program is only for joint-enrolled high school students. This is not for regular freshmen."

Apply for Accel online at www.gacollege411.com

High School Counselors
User Guides for completing ACCEL applications can be obtained through the STARS system after logging into the system. Passwords for ACCEL only access can also be obtained from this site.

Submit the application where it will automatically be forwarded to your High School Counselor. You will be required to sign an agreement with your High School Counselor. Please notify your counselor you have completed the electronic application at that time. |

Your High School Counselor will complete the application and submit it to the University.

Once you are admitted and have have received a letter of acceptance from NGCSU, please schedule a meeting with your Academic advisor, Ms. Williams (706) 864-2772 |

Visit Registrar's office with permit to register that has been signed by Dr. Williams. The permit will include a list of classes (including CRNs). The Registrar's office will verify your ACCEL application and register you for the upcoming semester.

Print proof of registration and bring to Office of Student Financial Aid (Barnes Hall Room 112) where a counselor will award HOPE Accel Funds to pay the bill
