Former/Returning Students

All former/returning students must reapply or reactivate their student record prior to application deadlines for the term they wish to attend. Students wishing to live on campus must reactivate their student record until the University meets capacity for residence hall students. If at least one semester has passed since you last attended North Georgia, you are considered to be a Former/Returning student.  Former/Returning students who attended college elsewhere after enrolling at North Georgia must have each college they attended send an official academic transcript of their work to the North Georgia address listed below by the appropriate application deadline.  Such students must have a 2.00 transferable GPA, have a clear conduct record, be in good academic standing and be eligible to return to their most recently attended college in order to be considered for re-admission and any kind of transfer credit.

If you are transferring credit from another college, you may not receive transfer credit for any course in which a grade of "F" was previously earned in the same course at North Georgia, unless you have not been enrolled at North Georgia for 18 months or more.

If You Attended North Georgia Within The Past Two Years

You may re-activate your student file by completing and submitting a Request to Reactivate Student File form by the appropriate application deadline.  Former/Returning students who attended college elsewhere after enrolling at North Georgia must have each college they attended send an official academic transcript of their work to the North Georgia address listed below by the appropriate application deadline.  Such students must have a 2.00 transferable GPA, have a clear conduct record, be in good academic standing and be eligible to return to their most recently attended college in order to be considered for re-admission and any kind of transfer credit.

If You Have Been Absent From North Georgia For More Than Two Years

You must complete another North Georgia Application for Undergraduate Admission, which is available as a downloadable form by the appropriate application deadline.  DO NOT APPLY ON-LINE.  Doing so will require payment of a $25 Application Fee.  The Application Fee is a one-time fee and as such, the downloadable paper form will not require payment of the fee.
