BUSINESS: North Georgia’s highly regarded business program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This prestigious status places the Mike Cottrell School of Business among an elite group of AACSB accredited institutions comprising less than 10 percent of the world’s business schools. North Georgia College & State University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate and master’s degrees. We are pleased to announce that the Team MBA classes will be held at the Cumming, GA City Hall (100 Main Street).

EDUCATION: The School of Education faculty and staff are extremely active in local schools, agencies, and organizations as consultants, researchers, and presenters. In addition, they are committed to superior professional preparation and continuous development. As such, the opportunity for further professional development is given to teachers by offering many classes in Forsyth County, primarily at North Forsyth High School.

NURSING: The ASN Program received initial National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) accreditation in
1980 and re accreditation in 1988, 1995, and 2003. Further expansion of the ASN Program occurred with the opening
of the satellite programs in Gainesville in 1984 and Lanier Technical Institute Forsyth Campus in 2006.

North Georgia College & State University is a
co-educational, liberal arts
institution, and is a state-supported senior unit of the
University System of Georgia under the direction of the

Bachelor's, Master's, and educational specialist levels.
