The University System of Georgia

Below is a step-by-step process and information for registering and logging into your GeorgiaOnMyLine courses after being accepted into a GOML program.

If you have not applied for admission to a GeorgiaOnMyLine program or would like to search GOML programs, visit http://www.georgiaonmyline.org.

Step by Step Guide for
Accepted NGCSU GOML Students

Newly admitted NGCSU/GOML students will receive Quick Admit acceptance via email from NGCSU. You will need the following information from the acceptance email

  1. NGCSU email address
  2. Academic advisor's name and contact information
  3. NGCSU student identification number (9-digit number begins with 9)

Your NGCSU email address

  • is the official means of communication from NGCSU faculty and staff
  • will serve as your username for GOML systems
  • was included in your initial Quick Admit Approval E-mail

Step #1 Log Into Your NGCSU E-mail Account.
Access the NGCSU homepage http://www.ngcsu.edu, click on e-mail, and follow the login instructions for new students.

Username is the first letter of first name, first letter of middle name, first 4 letters of your last name, and last 4 digits of your ngcsuID#. Example:

Step #2: Make note of your NGCSU Student Identification Number.
All GOML students who declare NGCSU as their home institution are issued a NGCSU Student ID.  Your NGCSU student id number

  • is used in place of your social security number

  • must be used in communications with NGCSU faculty and staff

  • is your username to login BANNER for fee payment

You can find this number at the bottom of your Quick Admit Acceptance E-mail.  Make a note of this number and commit it to memory.

Step #3: Contact your advisor.

Your advisor serves as your guide during your program of study. Advisors

  • offer guidance regarding courses to select each semester
  • offer details about future course offerings
  • help ensure you have completed the necessary details related to your program

Advisors and their contact information for the current programs of study are

Master of Education in Middle Grades Mathematics and Science - Dr. Richard Oates -
roates@ngcsu.edu

Master of Arts in International Affairs

Step #4: Register of GOML Courses.
Follow the steps below to complete the registration process - do NOT register through NGCSU BANNER - the GOML registration system supports University System of Georgia collaborative programs and is completely independent from the Banner Registration System used for other NGCSU programs. It may take up to 5 business days for you to receive access to the GOML registration system.  If you have difficulty logging in, please check that you are using the correct information (listed below) and allow up to 5 days to obtain system access.

  • Visit the GOML Student Registration Portal homepage.
  • Login. Your username is your NGCSU email address and your password is your date of birth in the MMDDYYYY format.
  • You will be asked to set a security question should you forget your password.

You are now logged into the registration system where you can add or drop courses. If you are placed on a wait list for a course, please be patient until a new section is opened. No student will be turned away from a course if registered.

Step #6: Pay your fees.
NGCSU is your home institution for your GOML program, and you will pay for your GOML courses through the NGCSU BANNER system.  Please allow up to 2 business days after you complete your GOML course registration for your course schedule and tuition due to reflect in the Banner System.  To log into the BANNER System:

  • Username: NGCSU Student ID Number
  • PIN: 6-digit birthday using 2-digit year (MMDDYY)
  • Click on the Student Tab
  • Click on Registration - Pay On Line

NOTE: Dropping a course after the add/drop period will not result in a refund. Make sure you drop courses before the drop date, as mentioned on the official GOML Course Calendar.

Step #7:  Accessing the E-Classroom
Next you will need to login to WebCT Vista to access your course work (not until a week before classes start).

  • Login to https://goml.view.usg.edu with your username (your NGCSU email address) and your password as your birthdate in the MMDDYYYY format.
  • Your courses will be available on the day of the semester start date according to the  GOML Course Calendar.

Cannot see your courses in WebCT Vista? Courses will not appear until the day the term begins. If you have problems on the start date, please go to http://www.georgiaonmyline.org/contact
