Student Success Center planned
Vice President for Student Affairs John Clower is
confident that a planned Student Success Center is less than 18 months away and will be operating in the soon-to-be-vacated
Stewart Library across from the student center. The center will provide another area for students to gather and help them excel academically.

Non-cadet male students move
into dorms in August

The most significant change
to North Georgia's undergraduate residence policy in the past 37 years will take effect this fall semester, starting Aug. 20,
when the first non-cadet male students begin living on campus. Three residence buildings will become home to 161 male
undergraduates who will make up 10 percent of the approximately 1,600
students who reside on campus.
Major renovation of Education building nears completion

The renovated Education Building
will soon provide desperately needed office and instructional space for two academic departments, the Center for
Global Engagement and the Department of Information & Instructional Technology when the building reopens at the
end of the month. The historic 1913 structure, the second oldest building on campus,
will be renamed West Main Hall.
