Yes ... The Teacher Continues

By Toni Bellon, 1999-2000 RDPTL

The Excellence in Teaching newsletter and web site had auspicious beginnings last year thanks to the tireless efforts of Dr. Judy O'Neal. It is my hope to continue and augment these efforts as we proceed into the next millennium.

This issue of the newsletter introduces the RDPTL initiatives for this year. In the following months, the newsletter will be utilized to present ideas and initiate conversation about instructional excellence.

Faculty and staff are invited to engage in this discussion. Upcoming Issues of The Teacher will address the following topics:

  • Pathology of Teaching and Learning (when teaching & learning are ailing)
  • Leadership in Teaching and Learning
  • Technology for Teaching and Learning
  • Assessment of Teaching and Learning (based on information from the faculty retreat)

Please feel free to send letters or related articles via campus mail (attention: Toni Bellon, Department of Teacher Education) or via e-mail rdptl@ngcsu.edu for possible inclusion in the newsletter.
