Getting Started

Teaching an online course takes a little more prep time than a regular face-to-face classroom course and may require multiple pedagogies and assessment techniques.

Step 1: Are You Ready?

Do you have the time and initiative? Take this online quiz at OnlineLearning.net to see if you are ready.

Step 2: Have your course development proposal approved.

Complete the "NGCSU Online Course Development Proposal & Contract" (MS Word document) and submit it to CTLE.

Step 3: Get the training you need.

Complete the "Facilitating Learning Online" (FLO) course and attend training sessions on WebCT VISTA template development , WIMBA LiveClassroom, and WIMBA Voice Tools.

Step 4: Follow the guidelines for development.

Read the guidelines for development of your course provided by the:
