Baseball Camps |
Baseball Camp #1 - Mon-Thurs, July 14-17, 2008 (Ages 10-18)
Baseball Camp #2 - Mon-Thurs, July 21-24, 2008 (Ages 10-18)
General Information - Each camp is limited to the first 150 applicants. Camps are available for day campers as well as overnight campers. Campers will be divided by age
groups for instructions and games. To ensure individual attention, there will be an instructor for every 10-12 campers. Fundamentals of throwing,
fielding, hitting, and base running will be stressed.
Camp instruction, drills and games will take place at
the baseball complex on the beautiful North Georgia College & State University campus in Dahlonega, Georgia.
Overnight campers will enjoy air conditioning housing in the campus residence halls and all you can eat meals
at the Dining Hall.

Baseball Prospect Camp - Tues & Wed, June 3-4 from 9:00am - 5:00pm
General Information - The North Georgia Baseball Prospect Camp is open
to any high school player having completed their sophomore year, junior college athletes, and anyone who
has the aspirations to play at the next level. This camp will provide players with fundamentals
they will take with them for years to come, while also helping players be seen by college coaches.

Girls Basketball Camp #1 - Sun-Thurs, June 15-19, 2008 (Ages 7-18)
Girls Basketball Camp #2 - Sun-Thurs, July 6-10, 2008 (Ages 7-18)
General Information - The North Georgia College & State University Summer Basketball Camps provide
appropriate, supervised training in the sport, with emphasis on improving fundamental skills and ability
of each participant. Campers receive small group instruction and play on organized teams, learning to
incorporate individual skill into play.

LEGO Engineering Day Camp |
LEGO Engineering Day Camp - Mon-Fri, June 23-27 (Ages 8-13)
General Information - Using LEGOT Education Division Materials and LEGOT Technic elements, children will learn by doing. Course covers gears, levers, wheels, axles, structures, forces and simple machines. Students will work in a lab-type setting with one LEGOT Technic kit for each two students.
The objective is to encourage hands-on (tactile) learning, promote team building, promote creativity in construction, and to have fun with basic science and mathematics. Camp is limited to the first 20 participants who register.

LEGO Battle Bots Day Camp |
LEGO Battle Bots Day Camp - Mon-Fri, July 21-25 (Ages 8-13)
General Information - Students design and build their own battle cars using principles of simple machines, gearing, and mechanical advantage to overcome their opponent's vehicles. Brain over brawn is taught through physics.
The objective is to encourage hands-on (tactile) learning, promote team building, promote creativity in construction, and to have fun with basic science and mathematics. Camp is limited to the first 20 participants who register.
