WHAT IS ACTIVE-FOR-LIFE MEMBERSHIP?
Every initiate of Phi Kappa Phi becomes a life member of the honor society. However, the national organization and the chapter encourage every member to maintain active membership in the organization by paying national and chapter dues each year. Active members receive the Phi Kappa Phi Newsletter and the Phi Kappa Phi Forum. Some members opt to pay a lifetime fee for active membership. Such members are then known as “active-for-life members.” The lifetime fee obviates further payments of national dues for active membership. It does not cover chapter dues. The chapter encourage all members, including active-for-life members, to pay chapter dues annually.
