PROJECT DIGNITY'S
VISUAL ARTS CONTEST

     Each year, NGCSU Project Dignity strives to close the gap between diverse groups in our community and to increase awareness of the many different groups of people on campus.  We do this by hosting a Visual Arts Contest, in which students may enter works of art using almost any medium, which are designed to increase awareness of a current social issue.  Judges are members of NGCSU's faculty and of the community.  The judges award cash prizes for first place in each of various categories (each category represents a medium).  Prize money for the 2004 contest was made available through a leadership grant awarded by the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society.
