SAINTS ANNOUNCE THE 2006 CROSS COUNTRY RECRUITING CLASS
Dahlonega, GA – Assistant coach David Watkins announced today the signing of eight women and one male who who will be joining the Saints in 2006. The class includes incoming freshman Liz Dunn and sophomore transfer Emmy Lawalin.
Dunn graduated from Harrison High School on May 27, 2006. Her personal best was 20:13 at the Wendy’s Invitational 5k. She also finished sixth at Region 5-5A with a time of 20:38, and crossed the line in twenty-fifth place at the State 5A meet in a time of 20:42. Dunn also competed on the varsity lacrosse team at Harrison High School.
Lawalin, a native of Gainesville, Georgia, graduated with honors from Chestatee High School in Gainesville, GA, where she earned team MVP honors and was the region and county champion. She also lettered in soccer, earning the Offensive Award.
