LADY SAINTS STORM PAST LADY TORNADOS 8-1

Brevard, N.C. – North Georgia College & State University rallied against Brevard College in women’s tennis for their third victory of the season.

The Lady Saints (3-1) got off to a good start by winning all three doubles with scores of 8-2, 8-0, and 8-0. Sophomores Sam Bissett and Catie Murphy won their doubles in the first flight followed by sophomore Jenny Bridges and freshman Katherine Harrison. Sophomore Amey Kearns and Andrea Rodas dispatched their opponents in the third flight to sweep the doubles. In singles action, Bissett and Harrison swept their matches 6-0, 6-0.

North Georgia will return to action at home as they take on Georgia Southwestern Wednesday afternoon.
