LADY SAINTS WIN FOURTH CONSECUTIVE GAME
Lady Saints record third consecutive shutout
Thomasville, GA - North Georgia College & State University scored two late goals to defeat Thomas University 3-0 in their final non-conference match-up before facing 22nd ranked Columbus State University next week.
Katie Caughell scored the eventual game-winner in the 20th minute off an assist by Kelly Orear to give the Lady Saints a 1-0 lead.
The Lady Saints held that lead until the 78th minute when Nina Carter continued her shot streak with another goal this week. This goal came off an assist by Erin Cummings.
Lauren Cappy would add the final goal of the game in the 83rd minute off an assist by Carter.
"It was just a great all-around performance," Lady Saints coach Chris Adams said.
North Georgia (7-4-1, 2-2 PBC) returns to action on Wednesday hosting Peach Belt leading Columbus State at 4 pm.
