LADY SAINTS SCORE FIRST WIN AGAINST LADY CANES
Elizabeth Franklin Scores a Hat Trick
Dahlonega, Ga. – Freshman forward Elizabeth Franklin led North Georgia College & State University with three goals as the Lady Saints routed Georgia Southwestern State University 7-0 Wednesday night for their first win of the season.
North Georgia sophomore midfielder Brittany Bruner scored the first goal of the match in the 25th minute off of a cross from junior midfielder Erin Alexander. The Lady Saints (1-7-0) went on to score six more goals off of six assists as they routed the Lady Canes (3-6-1). Alexander finished with two assists while sophomore goalie Kelly Conarro tallied her first shut out of the season.
North Georgia will return to action on Sunday as they take on Georgia College & State University at 2:00 p.m. on the road.
