NORTH GEORGIA WOMEN BLANK ERSKINE 2-0
DUE WEST, SC - The North Georgia College Women's Soccer team scored a goal in each half and handed Erskine their sixth consecutive loss on Tuesday night at Huggins Field. North Georgia's Kelly Orear put her team up 1-0, 38 minutes into the game, when she took a pass from Emily Otte and slipped the ball past Erskine goalie Shantika Britt . North Georgia added their second goal early in the second half when the Saints' Brittany Peck took another Otte pass in the middle of the field and knocked it in the back of the net. North Georgia out-shot Erskine 16-9.
The loss drops Erskine to 1-6 on the season while North Georgia improved to 6-3-1. Erskine next plays on Thursday when the Fleet visits Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Game time is 7:00 pm.
