SEASONED LADY SAINS SINK SAILFISH 92-48

St. Leo, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic University women's basketball team lost to North Georgia College and State University 48-92 on the opening day of the St. Leo University Tournament Friday.

Right before halftime the Saints went on a big run to leave the score 40-29 at the break. The Sailfish had a sluggish start to the second half while the Lady Saints came out quick and aggressive. Head Coach Brent Gibson said, "They are a seasoned, veteran team and they moved the ball well tonight."

The Saints had a balanced attack, with five players scoring in double figures. Coming off of a two-year hiatus from basketball, senior Lara Seamon scored a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minute of work. Senior Katie Williamson, Lindsey Huffman, and sophomore Megan Huffman all added 13 points in the win.

For PBA Anna Orr led with 18 points and made 4 of 6 attempts from the 3-point line. The highlight for the Sailfish was that they shot 50% from behind the arc. Shae Smith added 11 points and Sarah Powers led on the boards with 5 rebounds.
