HUFFMAN NAMED SSAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dahlonega, Ga. – North Georgia College & State University guard Megan Huffman is this weeks Southern States Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week for February 6 through February 12 for her performance on the court last week.
This marks the second time this season that Huffman has received the award for Player of the Week for the SSAC. She was named Player of the Week for the week of January 2 and is the first female basketball player this season to repeat the honor.
Huffman, a 5-10, freshman from Woodstock, Ga., averaged 17.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 4.5 apg, 2.0 bpg, and 2.5 spg in two games in which the Lady Saints went 2-0. She led the Lady Saints in scoring in both of their wins this past week over Georgia Southwestern State University and Auburn University Montgomery. For the season, Huffman is averaging 13.0 ppg and 4.3 rpg in 21 games for North Georgia.
