Due West, SC - The Erskine College softball team won one of two in a double header versus North Georgia. The Fleet lost the first game 10-0, and won the second game 4-1. The Lady Fleet stand at 8-5-1 overall.
North Georgia managed 10 runs off of 7 hits to take a 10-0 victory in the first game of the doubleheader. Page Raynor led the Saints going 3 for 3, scoring 2 runs and 1 RBI. Kaitlin Hunt took the loss for the Fleet, while North Georgia’s Dana Lowery pitched 5 innings for the win.
Sophomore Kimberly Hannan picked up the win in the second game. The Fleet were able to hold the Saints to only 2 hits this game. Amy Miller and Katee Knapp both were 2 for 3, scoring 1 run and adding 1 RBI each. Junior Sharleen Ashby went 2 for 2.
