Sophomore forward Kelvon Morris netted the next two goals for the Saints. The first was off of a break away in the 33rd minute and the second was eight minutes before the end of the half off of a pass from junior defender Brent Staley.
The second half played out much like the first as North Georgia netted three goals. Pelliccia scored his second goal of the match off of Prentice's second assist in the 62nd minute. Junior forward Jeremy Bouasy scored his first goal of the season off of an assist from senior midfielder Rene Alvarez at the 69:01 mark. Senior midfielder Kent Thornton also scored his first goal of the 2004 campaign after a corner kick from Alvarez bounced off of Bouasy and was knocked in by Thornton.
RC keeper Boyette made eight saves for the Eagles in the game while Saints junior keeper Vince Neal picked up his second shut-out of the season with two saves.
The Saints will take on their second PBC opponent this weekend as they face Clayton State University this Saturday on the road at 5:00 p.m. The Eagles will play Brevard College on the road Saturday at 4:00 p.m. |
