SAINTS MEN'S SOCCER RANKED #5 IN REGION XIII

Dahlonega, Ga. - North Georgia College & State University's men's soccer program is ranked fifth in the latest NAIA Region XIII poll released this week.

Fellow Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) members Berry College and Auburn University Montgomery are ranked one-two in the region followed by the University of Mobile and William Carey College in New Orleans.

The Saints (11-3-2, 8-1-1) defeated Southern Wesleyan University and Georgia Southwestern 1-0 and 12-0 this past week and secured a spot in the six team SSAC soccer tournament. The men's team takes on Coker College this weekend in Hartsville, S.C. for their final regular season match. The SSAC tournament begins Tuesday with the top two teams in the conference receiving first round bye and the third and fourth teams hosting the first round in the SSAC.
