2007 (As a Freshman) – Played at the University of Hawaii...appeared in nine games...scored first career point against Northwestern State (Dec. 16)...two points against Idaho (March 1)...had one rebound and one block against Oregon State (Nov. 19)...also played football at Hawaii, redshirted during the 2005 season.

High School – Played basketball at East Hall High School, graduating in 2005...started all four years at point guard on the nationally-ranked basketball team that claimed two state titles and finished runner-up once...team went 125-9 during those four years...named All-State as a sophomore and garnered Second-Team All-State and First-Team All-Area distinction as a junior and senior in football...caught 52 passes for 848 yards and five touchdowns as a senior...also lettered in track...belonged to the Deca Club (marketing)...played on nationally-ranked AAU team (Atlanta Celtics) with Dwight Howard and Josh Smith.

Personal – Son of Sonia Bell and Ernest Jackson...has two brothers.
