#20 SAINTS RUN PAST LIONS 113-94
Dahlonega, Ga. – North Georgia College & State University had four players score in double digits in a 113-94 victory over Piedmont College Tuesday night in men's basketball.
The Saints took command of the game in the first half as they outscored the Lions 53-34. Mark Trust led North Georgia with his second straight double-double. Trust had 22 points and 17 rebounds; he also tallied two blocks and three assists. Canaan Brown led all scorers with 25 points and had eight rebounds.
In the second half PC was hot from behind the arc as they went 7-for-11 (64%) from behind the line and 22-for-43 (51%) from the field. While the Lions matched the Saints 60 points in the second half, PC was unable to overcome the first deficit.
David Adcock led five Lions in double-digit scoring with 24 points. Kyle Kemmerer added 14 and Jake Baldwin chipped in 13 points for PC.
Next up for the Lions is a home date with Fisk University this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. North Georgia will play again on Thursday as they take on Berry College at 8:00 p.m. for the NGCSU Spirit Night.
