#21 SAINTS DEFEAT LIONS 100-82

Frankin Springs, Ga. - The Emmanuel College Lions fell to #21 North Georgia by the score of 100-82, in a game played in Franklin Springs.

Matt Causey led all scorers with 26 points and five assists while his brother Mark Causey added 21 points and four assists and four steals.

Their were some bright spots for the Lions, as guard Shavoye Brown had a strong night, scoring 25 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Guard Montrell Groce went 4-7 from the three point arc and scored 21 points. Forward Patrick McGowan put in 13 points for the Lions.

The Lions' next game is a road game on Monday, February 7, against Shorter College. The team's next home game is Thursday, February 10, against Southern Wesleyan University.
