Brickhouse, a 6-2 wing from Norcross, Ga., is a two-time Southern States Athletic All-Conference selection who was named conference Newcomer of the Year last season. As captain of this year's squad, Brickhouse led North Georgia to one of it's most successful season in almost a decade as the Saints finished the season 23-10 overall and 16-6 in the SSAC. He averaged 16.4 points a game and led the team in three-point percentage for the second straight season. Brickhouse scored 1000 points in his two seasons with North Georgia and scored 1241 points in his collegiate career.

I'm happy to be playing so close to home and am very grateful for the opportunity, says Brickhouse. He adds, I thank God for the ability to play at this level and the chance to represent my family, friends, and the university.
The Knights season begins on April 23 at home against the Macon Blaze at 7:00 p.m. All Gainesville Knights home games will be played in the Gainesville High School Gymnasium. The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA, under new Commissioner Mike Glenn , is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. |
