NORTH GEORGIA MEN'S BASKETBALL RELEASES 2004-2005 HOME BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
Dahlonega, Ga. - 15 home dates highlight the 2004-05 North Georgia College & State University 31-game regular season women's basketball schedule announced today by second year head coach Chris Faulkner.
North Georgia season begins with two home games against Covenant College (11/2) and Toccoa Falls College (11/6) with both games starting at 7:00 pm. On November 18 the Saints go on the road to Klamath Falls, Ore. for the Cell Tech - Midland Empire Classic. While on the trip the Saints will take on Western Baptist (11/18), Oregon Institute of Technology (11/19), and Cascade College (11/20).
The first Southern States Athletic Conference game of the season will be on November 29 in Cleveland, Tenn. as the Saints take on Lee University at 8:00 pm. North Georgia will also face off against Reinhardt College (12/2) on the road and then return home to play Southern Polytechnic State University (12/4). The final game of 2004 will be on December 13 as the Saints battle Emmanuel College at 8:00 pm.
The new year will open with the Cupboard Classic hosted by North Georgia on January 3 and 4. The Saints will battle Tennessee Temple (1/3) and Lindsey Wilson (1/4) during the tournament. For the remainder of the month of January North Georgia will battle its way through the SSAC. The month is highlighted by games against last years regular season champs Auburn Montgomery University (1/8) on the road and regular season co-champions Faulkner University (1/20). Regular season co-champions Reinhardt College will make the trip to Memorial Hall for a crucial game on January 27 at 8:00 pm.
February the Saints will finish the SSAC regular season with visits from AUM and Faulkner on the 10 and 28. North Georgia will also be tested on the road as they head to Rome to take on Shorter College (2/17) and Berry College (2/21).
The Saints are coming off last season's 13-20 overall record and a 10th place finish in the conference.
