Jason Pruitt begins his first year as the Academic Advisor and Compliance Office for the North Georgia College & State University Athletic Department.

Although new to the department of the athletics, this will be Pruitt's 14th year at North Georgia. He graduated from North Georgia in 1993 with a BS in Education and also earned a Masters degree in Education in 1998. He worked in Undergraduate Admissions from 1993-1997, then transferred to the Registrar's office, where he served as Associate Registrar from 1997-2001 and then Registrar from 2001-2007.

He began working with athletics as a member of the compliance team in 2005, and will serve as an academic advisor for all student-athletes and coordinate the compliance activities in his new role.

Jason lives in Gainesville with his wife Kristen (North Georgia '93, '95) and children Matthew (10), Jordan (8), D'Angelo (4), Elijah (2) and Chris (2).
