GARMON SIGNS WITH CINCINNATI REDS
Dahlonega, Ga. – North Georgia College & State University senior closer Ryan Garmon signed a free agent contract with the Cincinnati Reds organization this week.
The 6-1 lefty from Dahlonega, Ga. appeared in 25 games for the Saints baseball team this season and posted a 3.17 ERA. Garmon struck out 44 batters in 48.1 innings of work and gave up only 17 earned runs this season. During his two years with North Georgia, he put up a 6-3 record and a 3.09 ERA. Garmon struck out 74 hitters in his career as a Saint and held opposing batters to a .240 batting average. North Georgia finished its season 57-15 overall and in second place in the Southern States Athletic Conference with a 24-9 overall record. The Saints won the SSAC Tournament and participated in the NAIA Region XIII Tournament. |
