Nominations & Elections Committee

Duties:

Nominations Committee is responsible for developing a slate of officers and council members for election/re-election.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Officer Slate
2. President
3. Vice President
4. Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. Develop Slate for New Council Members – identify shortages.
7. Develop Slate for Council Member Re-election – identify those finishing first 2-year term.

Schedule and Deadlines:

1. Summer & Fall Semester Meeting –Announce projected requirements and solicit recommendations.
2. January Meeting – Present slate of Officers and vote. Present slate of new council members and approve to be presented to the General Membership.
3. Parents-Alumni Weekend General Membership Meeting – Present Council approved slate of New Council Members for General Membership vote.
4. Take office after Parents-Alumni Weekend.
