Instructional Classroom Technology Support

We are responsible for the coordination of all AV/ SMART classrooms that are installed and upgraded on campus.  This includes research and remaining current on industry trends, spec of equipment to be installed for classroom technology projects, and oversight and management of installations and vendors.  Once the equipment is installed we are responsible for supporting, servicing and inventory all of the technology in these rooms.  We currently house 96 technology classrooms and are in the process of adding 14 more before the fall semester begins.  We also support technology in 3 auditoriums here on campus.  A typical SMART classroom would include a projector, Crestron controls, SMART sympodium/ SMART board, DVD/VCR, PC, and other technology that may be requested for individual rooms.
