Logging into NGCSU lab computers

Type your username

Students accepted after 1/17/05
Username consists of: First letter of first name and middle name, first 4 letters of last name and last 4 digits of your ngcsuID# ( Ex : jzsmit1234)

Exception: Depending upon the date of your initial application, you may need to use the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

Students accepted or enrolled before 1/17/05
Username consists of: First letter of first name and middle name, first 4 letters of last name and last 4 digits of your Social Security Number ( Ex : jzsmit6789)

2 DO NOT type a password the FIRST time you log in.
3 Hit Enter.
4 Follow the prompts to change your password. (NOTE: Password must be at least 5 characters long.)
5 The next time you log in, you must use your new password.

 

Notes:

  • If you do not have a middle name, omit the middle intial in the username.
  • If your last name is hyphenated, use the first 4 letters of your hyphenated name for your last name letters.
  • Your username will stay the same while you attend NGCSU. Processing a name change with the Registrar's Office will not change your Novell or e-mail username.
