Subject:        Mandatory Email Listservs

 

 

 


Email communications are an integral part of the business processes of the university.  Members of the NGCSU community have three mandatory listservs at their disposal to communicate information en masse to the respective audiences.  These conduits have been established to provide communicative and financial efficiency to the University.

 

Each listserv is deemed to be an official means of communication.  All members of a listserv are responsible for being familiar with the information that is transmitted.  Participation in these listservs is mandatory, and no one will be allowed to terminate or suspend participation as long as she or he is employed.

 

Communications are restricted to official campus business. 

 

1.      ngcsu-list@listserv.uga.edu

 

Used to communicate with all campus employees.

 

2.      ngcsu-faculty@listserv.uga.edu

 

Used to communicate with all employees that carry faculty status and the senior administration.

 

3.      ngcsu-staff@listserv.uga.edu

 

Used to communicate with all staff employees.

 

 

Complaint Resolution

            Questions or concerns about a particular posting should be addressed to the individual or individual’s supervisor.  Respective supervisors will be responsible for determining any subsequent sanctions or actions.  A supervisor may request that an individual’s ability to post to a specific listserv be revoked for a period to be determined by the supervisor.
