| Roy Baumeister holds the Elsie B. Smith Chair in
the Liberal Arts at Case Western Reserve University. He received his
Ph.D. in 1978 from Princeton and, following a brief postdoctoral
fellowship at the University of California at Berkeley, came to CWRU as
an assistant professor in 1979. He worked his way up through the ranks,
and in 1989 he became the youngest full professor on the university
faculty. He has also held visiting appointments at the University of
Virginia, the University of Texas, and the Max-Planck-Institute in
Munich, Germany. Baumeister has over 200 scientific publications. |
