Where do I go to get a parking pass?

Where is the MAT administered?

The MAT is administered at NGCSU. For additional information, contact the NGCSU Testing Office.

Can the fall practicum and spring internship be modified to fit my work/personal schedule?

No. The practicum and internship are important components of the graduate degree. Modifications to the scheduling of the practicum or internship cannot be made.

Can I start the MEd/MAT program without being admitted to NGCSU graduate studies?

No. An individual must complete the NGCSU graduate studies requirements, including the GRE and all test scores (GACE I and GACE II - applicants for the SPED program should not take GACE II for the MAT program).

Can I be admitted to the graduate program without completing the immunization form?

Yes. While an individual can be admitted to the graduate program, one cannot register for any course without completion of the immunization form. The immunization form must be completed before registration of any courses can occur.

Are there specific semesters that I must take education core courses and content/endorsement courses?

Yes. In semesters 1, 2, and 3, an individual will take education core courses. In semesters 4 and 5, content courses will be completed. In semesters 2 and 3, an individual will have the opportunity to take content courses.

What are the NGCSU tuition and fees for graduate students?

Can I take a graduate course at NGCSU and transfer the graduate course to the School of Education MEd program?

Yes, a student can only take two (2) graduate courses at NGCSU without being admitted to a graduate program. However, the School of Education graduate program will only accept two (2) graduate courses at NGCSU to be applied to the MEd program.
