| Why I Became a Tutor: |
I became a tutor at the Writing Center because I thought that this would be a good experience to help me in my future aspirations of becoming a teacher of English. |
| Tutoring Philosophy: |
I learned early in my college career that good writers are not born, they are made. I understand that for some people, writing does not come naturally, and for those people, a little help can go a long way! |
| Future Goals: |
I plan on graduating (preferably within the next 50 years) and teaching high school English. Eventually, I might write a book or two, but I think I will always teach. |
| Other Interests: |
Mostly I don't have time to do anything besides homework these days, but on the rare occasion that I do get some time for myself, I enjoy reading children's books and eating chocolate. |

| Why I Became a Tutor: |
I became a tutor to help students become better writers. I also saw it as an opportunity to work with a variety of students, a skill that will be used in my future classroom. I wanted to make a difference. |
| Tutoring Philosophy: |
There is always room for improvement as a writer, no matter what your skill level is. |
| Future Goals: |
I want to share my passion for literature with high school students in the classroom. Further down the line, I want to become an editor of a major magazine. |
| Other Interests: |
Dancing, community service, literature, spending time with my family and trying to graduate! |

| Why I Became a Tutor: |
I believe helping others be better will also help me be better in my writing. I want to engage with people and also meet new students. In addition, I want to be that someone students can come to when they’re freaking out. |
| Tutoring Philosophy: |
Writing skills are something you have to learn. So for those who are struggling, I’m here to help. Whether it’s a big or small problem, my goal is to help anyway I can. |
| Future Goals: |
Well, I want to be a writer. That’s my number goal, I guess. I want use the skills I’ve been given to help other people. As far as what I’m going to do right after college, well, I’m still working on that. Maybe I’ll take a year off and go to Africa, I don’t know. However, I do want to hopefully get my masters and later on, my doctorate. I want to own my own little house somewhere and just be completely independent. |
| Other Interests: |
In my spare time (when I have it), I love to write. I love discovering new things about God and falling in love with him more and more. I love getting lost in a book and spending time with family and my friends. I love laughing till it hurts, dancing, painting and sketching. I’m a fan of dramatic, action, and foreign films. I really enjoy the outdoors and I frequently indulge in chocolate, gummy bears, peanut butter and sour candy. |

| Why I Became a Tutor: |
I love to write, and I feel that I can help someone improve their writing, and I also feel helping others can improve my own writing. |
| Tutoring Philosophy: |
I will try my best to show the writer their abilities, both strong and weak, as well as help them find their own style of writing. |
| Future Goals: |
I hope to go to law school or grad school to further my education, and I plan to write books or journals that are not politically correct, but are valid, whether as my job/career or not. |
| Other Interests: |
I enjoy hiking, running, softball, baseball, and almost all sports-related activities. I like to work with kids because they make me humble. I also like to read, especially from authors such as Ann Coulter, Mathew Staver, Dickens and many others. |
