
Dr. Mac Marcantel Martin
Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist
As the director of Student Counseling, Dr. Martin brings a variety of experiences and expertise to NGCSU. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Louisiana State University and completed her doctoral residency at the Medical College of Georgia/Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. Although she identifies herself theoretically as a behaviorist, she is trained in a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques to meet the diverse needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Professional interests include human sexuality, military adjustment, women's issues, individual diversity, and quality of life improvement through behavior change. Dr. Martin is also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where she worked during the Gulf War in the field of cryptologics intelligence. She enjoys fishing, reading sci-fi, and pickin' her banjo. |

Sherry McIntosh Sherry is the personable office manager. She brings many years of secretarial experience with her and is well known for her warm caring demeanor. She can answer most questions relating to services provided through the office as well as community wide. Sherry enjoys studying the legal system, being involved with her church, and spending time with her children, Ian and Kaley. |
