Ms. Mariana Stone was born in La Pampa, Argentina. She did her undergraduate at the National University of La Pampa where she received a degree in Educational Sciences with a concentration in learning theories. Ms. Stone received her MA degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Florida in Gainesville where she specialized in language acquisition. She has been working as Lab Director at NGCSU for 5 years and while there she developed numerous innovative approaches to integrate language learning technologies into the curriculum.  She is fully involved with ESL discussions at the state level and loves the field with great passion.

Dr. Kristi Hislope is a native of Somerset, Kentucky. She received her B.S. degree in Spanish and Industrial Technology from Morehead State University, her M.A. in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of Kentucky, and her doctorate in Spanish Linguistics from Purdue University. Her area of specialization is second language acquisition. In addition to teaching Spanish, she has also taught English-as-a-Second-Language.
