Donovan Hall
Constructed in 1975 and named for Ms. Alice Donovan, this female residence hall is a three-story brick building containing 3 wings, with 124 rooms housing up to 248 women. Donovan Hall has local telephone service, basic cable service, and network access to each room. This air-conditioned building has 2 central lounges with smaller lounges on each floor, coin-operated laundry facilities, vending machines, a full kitchen area, a computer lab with network access, and community bathrooms on each hall.
Each room houses two women and measures 10' x 12' with mauve carpet. Rooms in Donovan Hall contain two single beds that may be bunked, lofted, or left single, two standard-sized twin mattresses, two chairs, two desks, and two wardrobe/closets. The windows measure 32” wide and 60” high and have blinds provided. Donovan Hall is a freshman residence hall and is staffed with 9 Resident Assistants, and 1 Graduate Head Resident.
