Viewing a Podcast with iTunes

This is a quick guide for setting up iTunes on your computer and viewing selected NGCSU podcasting chanels. Instructions contain images which can be enlarged by clicking on "See Image" section!

To begin with, you will be provided with specific link on the web page or WebCT (See Image) which will take you to the University of Georgia Podcasting link page. On this page there are two links, one is for Apple iTunes web site Where you can download the latest version of iTunes, (See Image) and the other is actual chanel link which will take you directly to iTunes (if you have it installed) and download selected channel. You are able to download iTunes only if you have Windows 2000 or XP, and when that is done you have to open "iTunesSetup.exe" file which should be located on your desktop. From here just follow the simple instructions:

• Click on Download iTunes Free (See Image) and save "iTunesSetup.exe" on your desktop (See Image 1) (See Image 2).
• The "iTunesSetup.exe" is now located on your desktop (See Image).
• Open "iTunesSetup.exe" and follow installer instructions (1) (2).
• Open iTunes and click on "Podcasts" (See Image) / and in Advanced bar click on "Subscribe to Podcast" (See Image).
• As it was mentioned previously copy the link from Georgia Podcasting web site (See Image) and paste it into URL box (See Image).
• This will download your channel (See Image), and episodes which you can see by clicking on arrow, left from the channel name (See Image).
• Now you can view your episode. There are two ways to increase screen size: by pressing the screen button or clicking and dragging movie in to work area (See Image).
• If you whish to view episode on iPod you will have to first convert video to iPod format by clicking on Advanced/Covert Selection for iPod (See Image).
• And the last thing, if more episodes are added to certain channel just click on "Update" button on upper right corner of your screen.
