At this time, when quality service is a top priority, the Outstanding Staff Member of the Year is also a role model representing the highest level of excellence in job performance among the NGCSU staff.  This year’s recipient is all that and more.  Here are just a few remarks from the many nominations she received.  As a leader, she guides faculty and students through the maze of paperwork and procedures.  She takes initiative to solve problems and gets things done.  As a team player, she is the link between the faculty and the students in her department.  She is the brain and heart of the department juggling demands from all sides with an even hand and a cheerful demeanor.  She is the glue that holds the department together.  With almost 30 years on the job, her loyalty and dedication to NGCSU are undeniable.  The exceptional customer service she provides daily is incredible.  She is unfailingly courteous no matter the situation and goes out of her way to help when needed no matter how busy she might be.  She goes above and beyond what is expected.

The Staff Council hopes you will agree that Estelle is most deserving of this recognition.
