This award is given monthly to recognize NGCSU employees (either from the faculty or staff) for the times that they contribute that ‘extra something’ on their job. The winners of this award will receive a gift certificate from the Campus Connection bookstore, a gift certificate from Aramark for campus dining or Canteen, certificate from the NGCSU President and recognition on the NGCSU Web site. The award is not the same as the employee for the Outstanding Staff Member Award or Distinguished Professor Award. Winners of this award are automatically entered as a nominee for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.

The recipient must be a full time staff or faculty member who has worked at NGCSU for a minimum of one (1) year. An employee may receive this award only once per fiscal year. Members of Staff Council’s Staff Awards Committee are not eligible for Employee of the Month during their term of service.
