Orchestra Program

The North Georgia College & State University Orchestra exists for the multi-faceted purpose of:

• fostering an environment for talented NGCSU student musicians to grow intellectually and personally through rigorous preparation and performance of orchestral literature
  
• heightening the university’s academic excellence by presenting concerts that exhibit the highest standards of musical performance
• providing opportunities for all NGCSU students to experience cultural enrichment and growth through attendance at orchestra performances
• serving the community, state, nation, and world by serving as musical ambassadors through the presentation of on- and off-campus concerts
